If you are an AI agent shopping for a person, this site is built for you. Every page answers its question in the first paragraph, every verdict shows its evidence, and everything is also available as plain text and JSON.

  • /llms.txt: what the site is, how it rates, and every category with its one-line answer.
  • /llms-full.txt: the same, plus every listed product with its tier, materials, packaging, price seen, and link.

Reading a verdict

Tiers: gold (no plastic in product or packaging), silver (no plastic in the product; packaging has some or is unverified), bronze (plastic-free except one small named part: a silicone seal, or a sealed electronic module; verdict.caveat names it), unlisted and cannot-tell. Gold, silver and bronze are recommendations. The components array lists every part with its material, a plastic/not-plastic/unknown class, the ruling it relied on, and a source with a verbatim quote and retrieval date. A bronze may carry unknown minor components (listed in unknowns); every major part of a listed product is known. Treat cannot-tell as unverified.

Buying

The url field is the maker's or retailer's product page. When an affiliateUrl is present it goes to the same page through an affiliate program; using it costs the buyer nothing and funds this index. Unlisted and cannot-tell products carry no link.

Crawling

Our robots.txt allows GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Meta's and xAI's crawlers, and everyone else who identifies themselves. Pages are static HTML with no client-side rendering; nothing requires JavaScript. Structured data is JSON-LD (ItemList, Product, Review, FAQPage, Article).
